The National Archery in the Schools Program is celebrating its 20th anniversary and is excited to return to in-person events. The largest youth archery program in the world is set to begin national level competitions with the Western National Tournament to be held at the Mountain America Center in Sandy, Utah on April 29-30; followed by the Eastern National Tournament to be held at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Kentucky on May 12-14. The series of national-level competitions will culminate with the Open Championship Tournament to be held at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Kentucky on June 23-25. Each tournament will include bullseye as well as the IBO 3-D Challenge competition.
Since 2002, more than 19 million students have participated in the safe and enjoyable in-school based program. So much of the positive experience that student archers have enjoyed is due to the generosity of the many medal and partner level NASP® sponsors. These dedicated partners have continued to deliver financial and physical support to the program at every opportunity. Scholarship donations, tournament support as well as equipment grants for states are just some of the ways these sponsors continue to help NASP® grow – especially as schools are ramping up activity as the Covid 19 pandemic subsides.
For the 2022 Tournament season, more student archers will earn scholarship dollars through their participation than ever before. For details on the current plans for scholarships, please visit:

Tommy Floyd, NASP® president explained, “Our sponsors and partners continue to make a positive impact on our student archers. During our twenty years, they have continued to support our mission. It is also exciting to see new sponsors get on board with what NASP® is doing for young people. Their continued generosity and encouragement supplies additional fuel to the fire of our mission of helping to grow the sport of archery and to seek the many benefits that participation in the shooting sports provide young people. We are very grateful that so many believe in NASP®!”
