Hello, my name is Letisia Carranza. I am 12 years old and will soon turn 13 in February. I am in the 6th grade at Duff-Allen Central Elementary. I plan to continue archery throughout middle school and high school.
I’ve been with NASP® for 3 years. At the beginning of my first year of archery I was nervous, like most are. In my first tournament I shot only a 68. By the end of my first year I got it up to a 135, not high, but I was proud of it. During my second year, I started reaching 217. Now in my third year I am now shooting in the 230s, which are the highest scores I’ve shot and I’m very proud of myself for achieving it. I’m ready to continue to grow this year.
In addition to archery, other activities I also do are Y club, beta club, academic, basketball, softball, volleyball, S.T.L.P, chorus, robotics, and baseball.
