The Mule Deer Foundation becomes a Bronze level Sponsor with the National Archery in the Schools Program
Waldo Wisconsin: The Mule Deer Foundation has become the newest medal-level sponsor of the National Archery in the Schools Program. The Mule Deer Foundation, a long-time successful organization that focuses on the conservation of mule deer, black-tailed deer and their habitat, has continued and increased their support to the work of bringing comprehensive instruction in archery to over two million archers per year in 47 states and 11 other countries. NASP® is indeed very excited to announce MDF as its newest medal level sponsor!
NASP® President Roy Grimes said, “The Mule Deer Foundation (MDF) has long understood the promise of NASP® to equip young people with outdoor skills, so they might choose to be participants in wildlife conservation. MDF is an organization that realizes healthy wildlife and habitat also depends upon avid user support of these resources.”
“The Mule Deer Foundation has always been a strong supporter of getting kids engaged in the shooting sports and hunting – many of our chapters support local NASP® events, and we have hosted Utah State NASP® Tournament with our partners at Sportsmen for Fish and Wildlife during the Western Hunting & Conservation Expo in Salt Lake City for many years,” commented MDF President/CEO Miles Moretti. “We are happy to expand our partnership with NASP® in 2019 and looking forward to helping get more students interested in archery and the shooting sports.”
NASP® Vice President and General Manager Tommy Floyd said, “In getting to meet the folks with the Mule Deer Foundation recently, it was obvious to me that they have a real passion for all things outdoors. In their continuing support of youth, the shooting sports and wildlife conservation, they are exactly the type of organization that we want our students to discover. They have a strong history of supporting NASP®, and we are thrilled to have them as a new medal level sponsor.”
The National Archery in the Schools Program will host three major national and international tournaments in 2019; The Western National Tournament on April 26-27 in Salt Lake City, Utah; Eastern Nationals on May 9-11 in Louisville, Kentucky and the Open and Championships Tournaments in Nashville, Tennessee July 25-27.
