Thank you for your interest in information regarding NASP® tournament volunteers.
NASP® Tournament volunteers’ general duties are helping NASP® provide a safe quality tournament for all participants, by making sure NASP® rules and safety protocols are being followed, overseeing general range activities, and maintaining the event schedule through proper range operations.

NASP® relies on volunteers to help safely staff and manage our national events. Each season we utilize a total of approximately 300 volunteer positions to run our three events, Western National, Eastern National and Open Championship. More than 20,000 student archers and 10’s of thousands of friends and family participate or attend.
All NASP® volunteers must be at least 18 years of age and pass a background check. The background check is at no cost to the prospective volunteer. Once an approved background check is received, selected volunteers will be required to view and acknowledge watching range official training videos.
Volunteers assigned to an event also receive multiple communications from our Project Director providing additional instructions and information specific to each event. There are also morning briefings each day of our events where volunteers receive daily updates.
