Jeff is Vice President of the National Archery in the Schools Program. His role is supporting the incredible partnership between NASP®️, state fish and wildlife agencies and our many dedicated partners which impact over 1.3 million kids annually through in-school archery. Prior to this, Jeff was an Assistant Division Administrator with the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission where he managed education programming for the last 25 years. Jeff is a devout hunter, angler, shooter, wildlife viewer, naturalist, father and husband. He holds a BS and MS from the University of Nebraska, Lincoln. He has been a Hunter and Bowhunter Education Instructor for over 25 years, National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP®️) Archery Instructor Specialist, NRA firearms instructor and range officer, and member of the NASP®️ and National Bowhunter Education Foundation Board of Directors. He also served as the Vice Chair of the Midwest Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies R3 and Relevancy Committee (still a member) and also sits on the Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies Hunter Recruitment and Retention as well as Education Committees. Jeff loves to chase turkeys in the spring, deer in the fall, lament squirrel hunting, eat gourmet meals from the duck blind and pontificate about the outdoors. He loves to spend outdoor time with family and friends and instill the excitement of the outdoors in everyone he meets.
