Reset. Reset your shot if you think your arrow is not going to land where you want it to. There were many times when I had to lower my bow, put my arrow in my quiver, bow on my toe, and send a quick prayer. This helped me take a breath, gain control of my nerves, and get rid of my “could’ve, should’ve, and would’ve(s)”. Trust your instinct, if you know a shot isn’t going to go well, take a breath and start over. Don’t rush simply because others have finished taking their shot. Breathe, and remember what you’ve trained for.
