Maryland State NASP® Coordinator
Lou has been involved in NASP® since initiating an effort to bring NASP® to his home state of Maryland in 2005. In the years that followed Lou continued as a volunteer helping grow NASP® in Maryland. He was hired as a NASP® employee in 2012 after retiring from a law enforcement/corrections career of 36 years. Today, Lou serves as the MD Coordinator and as NASP® Program Manager. In that role he assists our network of Coordinators from across the country and around the world when necessary. Lou also serves as one of our trainers and has traveled to train or assist in training new coordinators and BAI’s as far away as South Africa. You’ll also see Lou working in a myriad of assignments at our tournaments.
Lou’s past includes a long history of hunting, fishing and enjoying God’s great outdoors with family and friends. He’s served on several boards of sportsman’s organizations as an officer, a Hunter Education Instructor and currently holds the Chairman’s position on Maryland’s all volunteer Wildlife Advisory Commission.
Lou and his wife Fran of 35+ years continue to live on Maryland’s Eastern Shore where they raised two sons, Joey and Luen.
